It was wonderful to see most of you at conferences last week. Your feedback informs our practice and it is important to hear from you! If you have not yet done so, please fill out the conference feedback form by Wednesday, October 31.

Counselor’s Corner  - from Aubrey
This past week in Cougar Time, students had the opportunity to explore Diversity & Differences. The key takeaway points were:

  • Understanding we are different.
  • Understanding how we are different.
  • Learning to communicate those differences in an appropriate & respectful way.
  • Giving value to those differences.

Students also selected the nation(s) they wanted to represent in the Parade of Nations. In the Middle School alone, our students identify with nearly 30 different nationalities! We all have a rich history to share with and learn from each other, so let’s celebrate our diversity.

We are all looking forward to the Parade of Nations on Wednesday! I hope to see you there!

With kind regards,
