Strategic Outreach Coordinator

The Academia Cotopaxi Strategic Outreach Coordinator has a leading role in working with all AC entities (AC, The One and IMAGINE) to develop and deploy the strategic admissions, marketing, and outreach plans designed for each of the entities as well as find opportunities to leverage resources for the betterment of the whole organization. 

The Academia Cotopaxi Outreach Coordinator has direct responsibility for the strategic admissions, marketing, and outreach plans of Academia Cotopaxi, which includes ensuring the school’s visual identity is clear and maintained in both the internal and external communities and that our key messages and communications are coherent across different areas and stakeholders. This role requires a bilingual English/Chinese speaker, capable of strategic engagement specifically with the Chinese community (those currently enrolled at AC and Chinese families in Ecuador and abroad who may seek enrollment in AC).

Responsible for alignment, development, communication and monitoring the success of the campaigns with internal stakeholders and external agencies. 

The Strategic Outreach Coordinator works collaboratively with both the Admissions and Marketing teams to achieve enrollment and school development goals.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

  • Fully bilingual, English and Chinese REQUIRED.
  • University Degree in marketing, organizational communication, public relations or related 
  • Relevant experience in education, preferably with a demonstrated understanding of educational, non-profit, and/or service industries.
  • Proven experience in outward facing admissions or marketing roles, with the ability to ensure best practices in marketing and communications in both English and Chinese. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and with teams, to build and maintain relationships with culturally diverse populations in and outside of the school, pro-active in working collaboratively.
  • Communicates confidently, effectively and persuasively, is eager to learn and identify new opportunities, is a consensus builder with the ability to lead.
  • Believes deeply in the school’s mission and shares common values with the Leadership team.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail (accurate, consistent records).
  • Digital media proficiency (Western and Chinese), i.e. social media, storytelling, digital content strategy, digital advertising, analytics, graphic design, web platforms.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with databases and Google suite.
  • Able to work independently.

Three Divisions, Two programs, One School
Three-Two-One – This is our community. Our Elementary School includes both our IMAGINE bilingual preschool program, and our full English-language immersion program from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Five. Full English immersion continued in Middle School from Grades Six through Grade Eight and High School from Grade Nine through Twelve. These smaller learning communities, within the broader school setting, provide the perfect size for developmentally appropriate learning for our different age groups. Every student feels that this is their school and that there are adults here who know them and who care about their well-being.
