MS Electives 2020-21
All current Grade 6-7 students will attend an assembly this Friday (February 28) regarding MS electives for next school year. Students will learn which electives are available, and will be given an electives preference paper form. This form is due by Friday, March 6 and requires a parent signature.
Please ask your child about the form on Friday and please help us communicate the message that due to the arrangement of certain electives in the schedule, and space in each elective, we cannot promise that students will receive their top preferences. Electives in Middle School are all about trying new things. We do our best to honor preferences, and sometimes this is not possible due to scheduling constraints. Thank you for your support.
Parent Day in the Middle
The Middle School is delighted to offer Parent Day in the Middle. Join us on Wednesday, March 11 for a "deep dive" into the MS program, and an opportunity to experience MS classes. We will begin at 8:15 a.m. in the Library for a conversation about MS curriculum and our counseling program. We will then attend classes, and end the morning by coming together for a follow-up conversation. This event asks for a time commitment of 8:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Spaces are limited to 20 parents. You will receive an email confirmation if you are one of the 20. The presentation will be similar to the Parent Days in the Middle we have held in the past, with different classes to visit. Please use this form to sign up. Thank you!

To properly utilize the full potential of our 1:1 BYOD program occasionally students will need to listen to differentiated instructions, videos, audio, etc as part of their lessons. The headphones are not for recreational use and will strictly be used for academic learning within the classroom. We encourage parents not to send high-end/high-fidelity headphones to school with their children. Our students are growing in responsibility and individual accountability, however, items do become damaged or lost.
Headphones are seen as a personal use device so to ensure our students health and hygiene, please send your child with his or her own headphones.
