The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is an important link between members of our community and school events, programs and mission.

The mission of the Academia Cotopaxi Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is to:

  • Generate and Increase School Pride.  We work closely with relevant parties to take appropriate actions to sponsor events, rallies or other methods to boost school pride.
  • Provide for Parent Education and Workshops.  We support the school by educating parents, leveraging subject matter experts at the school or externally for educational workshops.
  • Provide Resources for Community Service Grants to Students.  From funds raised at events, we provide financial support to students who participate in supporting relief efforts for catastrophic events or other causes as determined by the Executive Board and/or by the members of the community.


Our meetings are open to all members of the AC community and generally occur on the first Thursdays of the month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
