Congratulations to our athletes and coaches who participated this past weekend in the AASSA Tournament. The Girls Soccer team ended in 5th position and it was evident in their game vs. Americano just how far they had progressed this season. The Boys team ended 4th and challenged Menor throughout the final game. They too improved throughout the season and played their best games of the season this weekend--a testament to each of the student’s hard work, dedication and commitment to the Varsity sports program and to their coaches. Thank you to PJ Miller, M. Estupinan and S. Cevallos. Thank you Mr. Fuentes for running a smooth tournament.
Our Grade 11 students spent Global Citizenship time today with Mr. Wasser, our College Counselor. This is session one of three that he will run our Juniors through this semester. Mr. Wasser has a wonderful program and I welcome you to set up a time to meet with him to get to know you and your child better in the near future.
Counseling Corner -
Thank you to all 9-11th grade parents for helping your students choose their courses for next year. If you have any additional concerns or questions about your student’s plans please schedule a meeting with one of the counselors through Andrea - email@example.com.
We are also continuing to collaborate with our parent representatives to provide more prevention and wellness information to parents. Here is a quiz from FCD to test your knowledge about marijuana facts and to have a conversation at home with your child. You can complete the 8 questions and then click “view accuracy” to see how you did.
