Student Led Conferences
We look forward to seeing you at Student Led Conferences on February 28. You should have received an email from your child’s mentor teacher with a form to sign up for a twenty minute conference session. During this meeting, your child will present his/her ePortfolio of learning and there will be time for conversation with the mentor teacher. This style of conference allows students the opportunity to practice presentation skills, and allows parents to engage in meaningful conversations about student learning in the Middle School. Additionally, all teachers will be available for “drop-in” conversations between 7:45 - 8:30 am and 1:30 - 2:00 pm.

Fine Arts Festival
We are in need of parent volunteers to lead workshops at the Fine Arts Festival. The Festival is March 8 - 9 and the MS will spend these two days participating in workshops, musical concerts, and art displays. We rely on the AC community to help make this event a success! Please click on the Workshop Sign Up link (form in Spanish)  for more information and to sign up. You do not need to be an artist to lead a workshop. If you are looking for ideas, please let me know. Thank you! Concert times are 1:00 pm on both March 8 and 9. Band will perform on Thursday, and Orchestra on Friday.

MS Social
Our March MS Social takes place on March 2, 6:00 - 8:00pm, in the Gym. Students should arrive at the Social on time and must be picked up promptly at 8:00pm. The social is only for MS students, and faculty chaperones. Sorry, parents are not invited :)

House Has Talent
The High School house leaders are organizing the annual House Has Talent show. Auditions happen at lunch the week of February 19 - 23 (students audition based on their house) and the talent show is on March 2, at 1:30pm, in the auditorium.

Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you on campus soon.

With kind regards,
Sheryl
